Kit contents:
-full-sized printed pattern, tracing paper, instructions, list of paints available at most craft stores
and a color reference guide that clearly shows how to complete the painting.
Surface preparation:
-use on a flat or lightly textured wall
-wall should be white or light so that the trace lines show.
-high-gloss surfaces may need a coat of primer first.
DO NOT PAINT ON WALLS PAINTED WITH BEHR PAINT or other like products that use
nanotechnology.

The Portable Mural:
Any of our murals that measure less than 48" on one side can be painted on a sheet of 4' x 8'
plywood. Click here to see our sample for some tips on painting this.
The Paints:
Custom mixed acrylic paints are available from us or paints can be purchased from your
local craft store. A list of acrylic craft paint colors in popular
brands is included with the kit.
How it works:
-Tape tracing paper and pattern to the wall.
-Trace over the lines with a ball-point pen.
-Remove the pattern and paint.

How long does it take to paint?
Most paintings can be done in a weekend. The 'Cataflage' mural takes a bit longer - all of those
ferns! The large ark painting is a bigger project and might take up to a week to do.
Do I need any particular skills to do this?
No, The kits are designed to be done by anyone who can match the paint to a number. We do
recommend that people under 12 have some assistance from an adult.
